The Detective Unit is responsible for the investigation and successful prosecution of numerous incidents to include but not limited to:

Robberies
Sexual Assaults
Burglary
Theft of personal properties
Bias Offenses
Assaults
Weapon Offenses

Paxton Police Department Detectives are responsible for the handling of all evidence along with any property seized by the department and are involved with the processing of all crime scenes.
